VetFest 2019!

This past Saturday (August 31st) VH attended Disgruntled Vet’s VetFest2019. This was our first event as a vendor and I must say that I was quite impressed with the turnout of both vets and vendors. There are some amazing organizations that are doing amazing things for our local and national veterans and we were glad to be a part of the money raised for 22 Until None and DV Farm. Special thanks to Ryan and Jacqueline with Disgruntled Vets, as well as Morty on the Move and Sunshine Studios for putting on an awesome show and event.

In case you missed the event, you can still help raise money for 22 Until None, to help end veteran suicides, and DV Farm to help veterans reintegrate into civilian life, by using the code VETFEST10. Using that code will get you 10% off of your entire purchase (no limitations) and we’ll send an additional 5% to 22 Until None and 5% to DV Farm. Coupon code is valid throughout the month of September.
Every day we learn a little more.

We’re always striving to do better and working the VetFest event taught us a few things about ourselves. As our company grows so does our list of things to do. If there’s anything, anything at all (specific content, website tweaks, interactions, etc) we can do to improve on your experience with us, please feel free to reach out and let us know.

WHO said that?

It’s not particularly new information, but it definitely carries a lot weight. According to the World Health Organization’s Expert Committee on Drug Dependence, CBD is neither addictive, toxic or psychoactive. In daily oral administration tests up to 800mg in marijuana smokers and up to 600mg in non-cannabis smokers, subjects displayed “…no significant psychoactive, cardiovascular, or other effects and was without abuse-related indicators in a variety of tests.” [1] Furthermore, studies show that CBD has a positive effect on individuals that suffer from seizures and may also help with other medical conditions to include anxiety, depression, Parkinson’s, pain, nausea, and more. The big take-away is that much about CBD is still unknown, but what is known trends towards CBD being a safe and effective supplement to treat many ailments without risk of addiction or abuse.
